Andrea Long
MPT, CSCS
Andrea Long is a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports rehab and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Andrea graduated from University of Iowa with a Masters of Physical Therapy and obtained her undergraduate degree in Zoology at Iowa State University.
Andrea is an expert in high level orthopedic and sports rehab working with a wide range of clients from USA Swimming, USA Rugby, NBA players, collegiate baseball, professional rock climbers, USA Fencing to weekend warriors. She is a member of the USA Swimming Sports Medicine Network; treating and traveling with Team USA athletes. Andrea works on a task force to develop a comprehensive musculoskeletal screen for the Junior National Team to tease out underlying issues that may negatively impact performance. Andrea is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Andrea specializes in both non-operative and post-operative injuries involving the shoulder, back, hips and knees and aims to keep you active while addressing your injury.
In her free time she enjoys swimming, skiing, camping and golfing. Andrea also volunteers with Alameda High School as the Booster Club President. Andrea can be found on the sidelines of her children’s games cheering LET’S GO HORNETS, or watching ANY sport which might be on TV.
